Renaissance?
The word "renaissance" means "rebirth" in ancient Italian. Is this a rebirth-- a renaissance, if you will-- of my pranking career? Only time will tell.
As Omar Little of The Wire* once said, "It's all in the game." He's right/homosexual. And if pranking is a game, I've been out of it for a long time. It turns out it's hard to juggle the demands of pulling pranks, going to quaternary school and writing an internet log, and something had to go. But maybe I should get back into the game. Lately, I've been working on this one. It's a work in progress, but let me know what you think. And anyone can do it:
Here's what you do: sleep exclusively at really random times of the day and night, and be completely unable to do otherwise!! For example, check the hilarious past 24 hours of my life:
I slept at:
5:30 am - 10:30 am
2:30 pm - 5:45 pm (on a train)
1:00 am - 5:00 am
Let me tell you, I am subverting the expectations of when one is supposed to sleep like you wouldn't believe.
It's been a long time since I had the opportunity to write.... fin.
P.S. Superman Returns, which has been playing in the background while I write this Internet Log (or 'Tlog, as some people call it for short) is really boring! But at least they had the good sense to use the original music by John Williams, unlike the misguided filmmakers of Batman Begins. Also weird: Kal Penn (Kumar of Harold and Kumar) randomly plays one of Lex Luthor's henchmen, but his motivation is very unclear.
*If you haven't watched The Wire, you should stop reading this blog right now and sit down for twelve hours to watch season 1.
